Common questions
What if the internet goes down at the clinic?
The queue continues locally and syncs automatically when connectivity is restored. The TV display caches the last known state.
Does it work with any TV screen?
Yes. Any TV with an HDMI port works. You connect an Amazon Fire TV Stick, install the QCare TV app, and the display goes live.
How does WhatsApp notification work?
We use Twilio's WhatsApp Business API. Patients receive a message when they register and again when their token is called. No patient needs to install anything.
Is patient data safe?
Each clinic gets its own isolated subdomain with row-level security. No patient data is shared across clinics. Receptionists log in via OTP only.
How long does setup take?
Under 30 minutes for most setups. Our onboarding flow walks you through QR code placement, TV display setup, and receptionist login.
Can I add more doctors later?
Yes. Upgrade from Starter to Growth at any time to unlock up to 5 doctor queues. Enterprise supports unlimited doctors and multiple branches.
What's the 50 tokens/day limit on Starter?
Most single-doctor clinics see 20–45 patients per day. The 50-token limit comfortably covers this. Need more? Growth gives you unlimited tokens.
